WP Peninsula all but passed their final hurdle on the way to the B Section title and a promotion to the A Section, while the SACD secured top spot in a dress rehearsal of the B Section Men’s final.

Northern Daisies kept their hopes of a tournament victory alive when they put Mpumalanga to the sword. Shanay de Klerk made it one nil in the first quarter and it was doubled a couple minutes later by Elizabeth Porter. Captain Nadia Kitshoff made it 3-0 in favour of the Daisies at the half time break. The second half mirrored the first with a further 3 goals for Daisies scored by Pretty Morema, De Klerk and Kitshoff to wrap up a big 6-0 win.
In a riveting battle SACD stormed ahead going 3-0 up at half time against Eastern Province at the half-time. Jayde Viljoen scored either side of Ntokozo Dube and it looked great for SACD. It even looked better when Lisa February made it 4-0 with 10 remaining. Eastern Province created a sublime finish with Alucedo Dunga, Leschae Kops and Cassidy Williams made it 4-3 and just before the hooter they almost found the equalizer were denied.
WP Peninsula knew a victory would put them just one point to secure the title. Jesse Gradwell gave them a perfect start against KZN Mynahs and they added a brace from Isabella Booyens to make it 3-0 at half-time. Danielle Pillay pulled one back for Mynahs before a late Lane Barnard strike put one golden hand on the trophy for Western Province Peninsula.

Northern Daisies and Northern Cape knew they would play in the 5th place playoff before they started their dress rehearsal game this morning. If the main play is anything like the dress rehearsal it’s the Pretoria boys who would be the happier. Liam Elkington (2), Devin Allen and David Baxter all scored in a comfortable 4-1 win with Thomas Waddell getting the reply.
KZN Mynahs and SG Nuggets both had the opportunity to qualify for the final with a win. It was Nuggets who settled quicker and at half time they led through Mbulelo Ncube and Adams Mesach. But the Mynahs were the better team in the second half scoring through Christian Lambert and Mpumelelo Nkosi. In the final five minutes both teams could have won the game, but the draw ultimately consigned both to the bronze medal game.
Having had the relaxing news of final qualification secured, the final pool stage game between Free State and SACD lacked the intensity that we will see tomorrow. Vaughn van Reenen scored the game’s only goal to help SACD secure top spot and maybe the title as favourites tomorrow.
